Kim Nelson is a writer, outdoor cat, pop culture nerd, and karaoke enthusiast who lives in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Columbia College with a degree in theatre and studied comedy writing at The Second City Training Center. Kim currently writes speculative fiction, road trip travelogues, and critical essays obsessing about geekery of all kinds, aiming to blend her love of nature and wildlife with the escape element of galaxies far, far away.
